The MIT/Wellesley Upward Bound Program is a year-round, coeducational, multicultural college preparatory program for high school youth who reside in Cambridge, MA and attend Cambridge Rindge and Latin School (CRLS). The program serves students from low-income backgrounds and from families where parents have not had the opportunity to attend college and/or graduate with a 4-year degree. The main goal of the program is to motivate participants to continue on to postsecondary education.

Registration instructions
Applications from students in the ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades are accepted annually primarily from September 1st to December 15th. However, these current high school students may apply at any time throughout the year.
Applications from students in the eighth grade are accepted annually from February 1st to April 30th.
Please complete and submit all materials in a timely manner to avoid delays in processing. An interview and initial academic assessment are required as part of the application process.
