Kesher (meaning “Connection”) After School is nationally recognized bilingual education program serving children JK-7th grades with a project-based and Hebrew-infused curriculum, challenging students intellectually while fostering a deep connection with the pleasures of learning, the rewards of active community participation, and the richness of Jewish culture in a non-religious environment. Now in our 28th year, our program is inclusive and open to all.

Kesher offers a choice of two days between Mondays and Thursdays. We coordinate transportation services from students' elementary and middle schools, so that children begin their afternoon with informal learning through free play and a snack before moving into age-appropriate learning experiences. Each day includes Shira, a community song and learning circle, and pick-up is at 5:45pm (no later than 6).

The school is located between Porter and Union Squares. Pick-ups are facilitated by staff at the Baldwin School stop for Cambridge Public School students, for ease of transportation. In addition, there are walking or van transportation services available for private schools and Somerville, Medford, and Arlington public schools. The school is adjacent to Conway Park, where our children enjoy the playground, field, and basketball court. We share an ample parking lot with Veterans Memorial Skating Rink and are close to public transportation.
