JAS House Improvement Program

Just-A-Start's House Improvement Program (HIP) provides technical assistance to Cambridge homeowners with their repair & rehab projects. JAS Staff works with the owner throughout the life cycle of their project to include: defining scope of work; contractor bid & selection process; arrangement of low interest financing & grants as available; and construction oversight.

Eligibility - additional information

Cambridge homeowners who have owned and occupied their residence for at least one year and investor-owners of 1-4 unit multifamily rental properties housing income-eligible tenants. Low-interest mortgage loan funding and grants may be available for low to moderate income eligible Cambridge homeowners per current Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) guidelines.
