Girls Taking Action (GTA) is for self-identified emerging young women looking to play a leadership role in their community. The program will examine and explore the intersectionality of race and gender and how this relates to and impacts the development and shaping of identity. The program encourages them to become active citizens by introducing them to social justice, critical thinking, service-learning, life-skill development and career awareness opportunities.
